[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=cellpadding,0,true][atrb=style, width: 500px] I REMEMBER WHEN WE WERE DRIVING we gotta make a decision: leave tonight or live and die this way? S was having the time of her life. No water. Scarce food. Cramped bunk. No sleep. No hot baths. Really now, what more could she ask for. Not. Their arrival at the said town had been received rather warmly. After two days of quarantine at a nearby fenced area, their team of two entered the camp with such... low spirits. They didn't look like they were best friends ever since kindergarten. More like they were banded together on their way to Road's End. As the peeked curiously into the bus, surprised to see the amount of ammo, gas and weapons stocked in it, she slipped quietly out of sight, letting her friend take all the attention. Some other time, she would have liked all eyes to be on her, especially Elliot's, but that was some other time. This was today and today, Elliot was gone. None of it mattered now. Sofia just hoped her bestbud would find her soon after all the initial excitement died down but one thing led to another and before she knew it, a friendship that once was started to fall apart. Funny how two kids never thought they'd never be separated and yet here they were, strangers to one another. S had been called into the cafeteria once it was found out that she had a great skill at cooking and was stationed to stay at the church until they found a place for her. She'd though her bestfriend would be there but the days passed and still, Joey never came by, nor saw her at all. It wasn't that big of a town but it was funny how they couldn't even see each other. But then maybe, there were times when she completely avoided him, or nearly approached but never really did come close to him. She kept to the cafeteria and church and never strayed to any of the other places in town, not really in the mood to explore, ever. Sarah kept to herself and before long, a queen that once smiled and laughed turned bitter cold and naive of everything around her. She lived but was never really alive. It was a surprise when after a few weeks, she was told that she now had a home with two roomies and could relocate as soon as she was all set. At the back of her mind, she thought about the family that once lived there that now didn't and felt a pang of sadness strike her. Nothing good could be gotten out of feeling guilty and so after a few days of packing her designer labels, her only clothes they could pack into her suitcase, and the other few necessities she had, she trudged along the street, paper on hand where her new home's address was written on. 472 | OPEN | COMPLETE heh. first post. woot. |
